Deborah Lynn Bartlett, 63, died April 11, 2012. She was born Dec. 14, 1948 in Minden, LA, the daughter of Billy and Peggy Suggs. "Mama" as most everyone came to know her, brought love, laughter and that motherly scolding we all deserved from time to time. The love she gave to her animals and to people brightened our hearts. Without expectations or regrets, Mama would do almost anything she could for someone in need. She lived life as it came but also never forgot where she came from. Knowing she'd been blessed even with her own trials and struggles, she always kept on going. She always said, "family is all we have" and she adopted many children along the way. She became my friend, then my mom, and I wouldn't have changed a thing. She kept me on my toes! After all, I became "the other woman" who shared her son! Survivors include her son, Brad Powers and his wife, Dana; daughter, Sharon McCown; and three grandchildren, Christopher, Josh and Reba Lynn. Graveside services will be Friday, April 13, 10:00am at Bethany Cemetery, Bethany, Oklahoma.
