Dawna May Conas, 45, passed Saturday evening, August 13, 2011. Dawna was born in Banning, CA, March 17, 1966, the oldest daughter of Richard and Lori Conas. Dawna, along with Pete Magnetti, founded the Sacramento Imagination Shop Theatre Guild. A business that helped many of its members finish high school, get into college, find employment as well as numerous other positives in members. In 2002, Dawna moved to Holdenville, OK where she started a restaurant, Dawna Cs, as well as occasionally writing an article for the local newspaper. Health issues forced Dawna to stop working. She moved to OKC in 2006 and became a member of Bethany First Nazarene Church. Dawna is survived by father, Richard and stepmother, Michell of Pasadena, CA; several siblings, including Lisa, Liz, Tim, Tony, and Michelle of CA and sister and best friend, Becca, of OKC; daughter, Jaydeen; son, Tim Jr. of Sacramento; as well as daughters, Rikki and Kara of Port Angeles, WA. She is survived by husband, Michael Criswell of OKC. But she is mostly survived by the countless people whose life she touched and made a difference throughout her life. She will be missed but always remembered. Viewing will be Thursday, August 18, noon to 3:00pm with memorial service following in Mercer-Adams Chapel.
