David Lindsay Young, 52, died Oct. 14, 2011 in OKC. He was born Feb. 27, 1959 in Lawton, OK to Richard and Marjorie (Lindsay) Young. He was the owner of Security Lock Service. A devoted member of Northwest Baptist Church, he enjoyed teaching 2 year olds. His hobbies included computers and gadgets, playing the drums, and spelunking. David strived to maintain quality relationships with his children, even learning to text so they could communicate frequently. David spent a lot of time overseeing his childrens education. He encouraged others to succeed in getting a higher education. David was preceded in death by his father, Richard. He is survived by his wife, Kris; daughters, Lindsay of the home and Crystal of Edmond; son, Morgan and wife Heather of Broken Arrow, OK; brother, Richard Young Jr. and wife Pat; sister, Karen Bender; and mother, Marjorie Taylor. Family visitation will be Wednesday, 4-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday Oct. 20, 2011 at Northwest Baptist Church with interment in Memorial Park.
