David John Wilcox, Sr., 48 of OKC, went to be with his Lord and Savior December 10, 2011. He was born September 5, 1963 to parents John Daniel Wilcox, Sr. and Gloria Carole Bonifield. David graduated from PC West High School in 1982. David was a loyal and longtime employee of Wal-Mart. He married the love of his Iife, Debbie, in 1984. Together they raised 5 awesome children. David was truly proud of the accomplishments of all of them. He was preceded in death by his father, John Wilcox and stepfather, John Nelson Bonifield. Survivors include his loving mother, Carole Bonifield; stepmother, Jane Wilcox; wife, Debbie; and children, John, Bryan, Kasey, Bethany and Austin. Other survivors include brothers, Shan Bonifield, Glen Wilcox and family (Kaye, Karl and Sean), and Dan Wilcox and family (Cookie, Savannah and Everett); as well as many more loving friends and family. David was loved by all who knew him and will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to PC West wrestling. Memorial services will be Wed., Dec. 14, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
