David Waters, 52, died in the early morning of September 11, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A memorial service in his honor will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service in Bethany, Oklahoma at two Oclock in the afternoon. He was born on August 30, 1959, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Richard and Janice Waters. His father was a steel and computer component sales representative in Oklahoma City. His mother was an office administrator for various companies in Oklahoma City. David graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1977. David was an avid hunter and fisherman and those who knew him best describe him as a continuous tinkerer. He constantly had a new project to work on; whether it be a twenty foot smoker to cook meals for his friends and family or coming up with ideas to make the annual Boo Bust Party he and his friends held bigger and bigger each year. David is survived by his brothers, James and Rick Waters; sisters, Jan and Lisa; two sons, Christopher and David Waters Jr.; daughter, Madison Trowell and his mother, Janice Lee Waters. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Waters, who passed in November of 2010.
