David Eugene
Wallace
Jan 11, 1967 — Apr 10, 2024
At the time of his passing, April 10th, 2024, David Eugene Wallace lived with his wife, Amy of 34 years, in Bethany, OK. In early life, David lived in Florida, Colorado, and finally Oklahoma with his parents, Ivan and Mary Patricia Wallace along with his sister, Tina.
Attending the University of Oklahoma, David became an enthusiastic OU fan. Seldom would you ever see him when he wasn't wearing his OU hat, OU emblazed shirt, or carrying an OU cup. He quite simply loved OU Football!
Ever pursuing culinary mastery, as an amateur chef, David thoroughly enjoyed exploring fine cookery and preparing delicious meals for his family and friends.
As a learned automative mechanic, David generously was always glad to lend a hand or provide guidance in all car related matters.
David's silly showiness often masked his gentle soul, but you knew by the way he loved his friends and family that he possessed great tenderness. His affection was evident in David's epic love affair with his wife, the way he faithfully attended all family functions, the way he meticulously facilitated his mother-in-law's medical care, and so many other ways too numerous to count.
On his chair side table, sits David's Bible. He often read The Word seeking answers, deeper meaning, and greater understanding.
David's benevolence and his prominence in our family will be forever missed.
Living in loss, David is survived by the love of his life, Amy Wallace; his sister, Tina Wallace and nephew, Jesse Wallace of Miami, Florida; mother-in-law, Donna Stacy; brother-in-law, Joe C. Stacy; his sister-in-law, Lisa Burns and husband Tim; uncle, Ivan L. Wallace, Jr.; and nephews, Jeremy Gaddy, Tyler Reisman, and Zachary Reisman all of OKC.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Mary Wallace; father-in law, Joe H. Stacy; and sister-in-law, Kim Reisman.
