David K Thomason, 72, of Oklahoma City, passed away in his home Aug. 22, 2014 after a hard fought battle with COPD. David was born Feb. 9, 1942 in Lawton OK. He graduated from Lawton High School in 1960 where he was captain of the tennis team. He retired after many years in the construction industry. He enjoyed numerous outdoor activities including fishing, boating, camping, and traveling in his RV. He is preceded in death by father, Gene Thomason; sister, Judy Thomason Nelson; and granddaughter, Millie Thomason. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Thomason; his mother, Mazella Thomason of OKC; two sons, Todd Thomason and wife Melody of OKC, Don Thomason and wife Teresa of Blanchard; 6 grandchildren, Briana, Tara, Tyler, Rayna, Hannah, and Cooper; two brothers, Glen Thomason and wife Marcia of Virginia, Dick Thomason and wife Phyllis of OKC; and numerous family and friends. Viewing will be Monday 9am-9pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Tuesday, August 26th, 10:00 am at Mercer Adams Chapel 3925 N. Asbury Ave. Bethany,OK.
