David Edward Mabry, Sr., 79, entered heaven on April 17, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born July 3, 1943 to Loyd C. and Wanda (Cary) Mabry in Lawton, OK. He married Carolyn Ann McClain on January 17, 1963 and they were blessed to welcome two children to their family, David, Jr. and Sheila. David spent his career as a paint contractor. He was a longtime active member of Friendship Pentecostal Holiness Church where he enjoyed singing and praising his Lord. David was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rev. Ronnie Mabry. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn; son, David Mabry, Jr. and wife, Jana; daughter, Sheila Moss and husband Scott; grandchildren, Mallory, Joshua, Courteney, Dawson, Carson, Bray and Lex; great-grandchildren, Camden, Caiden, Cydney, Kyler, Kash and Brinley; and numerous extended family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Viewing will be Tuesday, 5-8pm and Wednesday, 8am-8pm with family present on Tuesday from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be 10:00am on Thursday, April 20 at the Mercer-Adams Chapel. Interment follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, OK at 3:30 p.m. .
