David Mitchell Lindsey, 66, of Warr Acres, OK passed away on January 28, 2016 after a battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 11, 1949 in the house he grew up in in Warr Acres, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert M. and Marie Lindsey and his niece, Robin Schmahl. He is survived by his two sisters, Mary of Edmond and Pat of OKC; two brothers, Charles of OKC and Ronnie and his wife Deanna of Bethany, OK; several nieces, nephews and many friends, especially Sam Filippo, who was like a brother to him. David graduated from Putnam City High School (original) in 1969. He loved everything to do with racing whether it be motorcycles, NASCAR or drag racing. Before he became sick, he loved to ride on his motorcycle and go on trips with his friends. He had a very outgoing personality and sense of humor to match. He always had a joke to share. His personality made him a good salesman for Beeler Distributing or selling cars or working at the Pawn shop. There will be a memorial service for David on Friday, February 5th at 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany.
