David Edward Cummings, 67, passed away February 15, 2009. He was born October 19, 1941 in New York City, New York to David and Isabelle (Field) Cummings. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Later, he received his Bachelors degree in accounting from Central State University, now UCO, and specialized in Tax Accounting. He was a constant joker. He enjoyed working in the garden and doing fix-it projects to the home. He loved to learn how to do new activities. He had a vast store of information, both important and trivial. He was self taught and became very proficient at the computer. He was a very friendly person and loved people. As a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene, he was a member of the choir and a dedicated worker in the church. David was a loving husband to Diane Cummings, father of Mitzi, Davi, Gina and Mandy, and grandfather to twelve grandchildren. Services will be Friday, February 20, 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Church of the Nazarene with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
