Darrell Floyd Watkins, 81, died July 26, 2013 in Oklahoma City. He was born August 8, 1931 in Fargo, OK, the son of Aaron Lloyd and Ruby Palmer (Satterfield) Watkins. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1975. On December 24, 1951, he married Martha Jo Reeves in Bentonville, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charley and Lloyd Watkins. Survivors include his wife, Martha; two sons, Gregory D. Watkins of Bethany, and Mike J. Watkins and wife Fonda of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Vernon Watkins and wife Charlene and Virgil Watkins and wife Frankie; sister, Darlene Piersall and husband Gene all of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren, Rachel Watkins and husband Travis Miller, Alisha Jones and husband Nick and Kyle Watkins; and great grandchild, Emma Jones. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013 with the family present from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany with burial to follow in the Bethany Cemetery.
