Darrell Dwayne Lanham, 67 passed away July 26, 2014 in OKC. He was born on October 11, 1946 in Mooreland, OK the son of Luther Henry and Evelyn Naomi (Secrist) Lanham. Darrell graduated from Woodward High School in 1966. He attended the University of Oklahoma and Southern Nazarene University. He was a member of Lake Overholser Church of the Nazarene. Darrell retired from the Oklahoma Dept. of Agriculture. He enjoyed growing flowers, visiting museums, taking pictures, people-watching, and caring for his aquarium. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Fern Lanham and sister, Elaine Vaughn. Survivors include sisters, Loretta Lanham of OKC, Alveta Rogers and husband Kelly of Buffalo, OK, Donna Rushing of OKC, Evelyn Lanham of Yukon, OK, Rhonda Lee and husband David of Bethany; brother-in-law, Bob Vaughn of Bethany; girlfriend of 30 years, Melain Eavenson of OKC. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 29 at Mercer-Adams, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 30 at Lake Overholser Church of the Nazarene, 3900 Lake Overholser Drive, Bethany, OK.
