Darrel Wayne Warehime, 61, of Bethany, died January 15, 2011. He was born June 8, 1949 in Lawton, OK to Marvin and Syble (Hurst) Warehime. A Major in the United States Army, he was a proud Vietnam Veteran who received both a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Darrel was married to Gayle Warehime for 40 years. He was employed at the Bethany Post Office for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ron Warehime. He is survived by his wife, Gayle; children Christie McKeown and husband Kelly, Eric Warehime and wife Nicole; Darla Bilderback and husband Brian; brother Charlie Warehime and wife Nancy; sister Jean Baird and husband Bobby; grandchildren Kate, Aubrey, Erika, Blakely and Will; and father-in-law Gaylord Lackey. Viewing will be Wednesday, 9am-9pm. Services will be Thurs., Jan. 20, 2:00pm at Resurrection Chapel with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
