DAnn Jones, 78, of Oklahoma City, passed away April 26, 2017, with her family by her side. Her parents were Jack and Laura Griffin of Lawton, OK. DAnn graduated from Lawton High School and resided in Lawton before moving to Oklahoma City. She worked many years as an office manager for a local urology medical practice and dental practice before moving on to work as Social Services Director for Baptist Retirement Village. Her most recent professional achievement was earning a Certificate in Early Childhood Development. Community services included volunteering for Contact Crisis Centers 24-hour hotline. For over 25 years, DAnn was a very active member of Springdale Baptist Church and held several positions. She was a Sunday School teacher and participated in the Sewing Ministry. DAnn loved golf and basketball and was a dedicated Thunder fan. She profoundly loved and was devoted to her pets throughout her life. DAnn was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William L. (Bill) Jones. The couple was married for 32 years. Survivors include daughters, Kandi L. Jones, of Norman, Kellie D. Metcalf, of Enid, and Kari L. Warner, of Edmond; 2 grandsons, Jason Warner and Griffin Maxwell; 4 granddaughters, Ivorie Meyers, Brandi Antonelli, Katie Maxwell, and Sierra Warner; 1 brother, Randy Griffin, of Lawton; 1 sister, Debbie Tiehen, of Oklahoma City; 1 niece, 4 nephews and 11 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-9pm, with family receiving friends from 1-3pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Monday, May 1, 2017, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany.
