Dallas Lawrence Rose, born September 13, 1927 in Henrieville, Utah to Lawrence and Sarah Eliza Rose, returned to Heaven on Saturday, November 8, 2008. Dallas was married to Peggy Jean Lee on July 4, 1947 in San Diego, California. Dallas served in the Army Air Corps and U.S. Air Force. Dallas and Peggy moved to Oklahoma in 1954 and lived happily together for 61 years. Dallas retired from AT&T in 1990. Dallas was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Betty Raye Brown and Lieuwen Shumway; and a brother, Moroni F. Savage. Dallas is survived by his spouse, Peggy; daughters Debra Ann Kuykendall and her husband, H.G. Jr., Jana Lee Allen and her husband, Mark, and Alisa Kay Craig and her husband, John; son, Dallas Randell Rose and his wife, Tracye; sister, Avalon Baker of Las Vegas, Nevada; brother-in-law, J.R. Buster Brown of Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; plus many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, with the family receiving visitors from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mercer-Adams. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 12, 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5020 NW 63rd, Oklahoma City.
