Dallas A. McKellips, Sr., of Bethany, Oklahoma, was born December 17, 1924, and died January 9, 2012, at age 87. He was a decorated WWII veteran who, with his unit, freed Paris, France. He served as Pastor and Evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley and son Perry, and is survived by his wife Edwina; daughter Ruthanne Pound and husband Ira; daughter Jeannie LaCroix and husband Jim; son Dallas McKellips and wife Dianne; stepdaughters Terri Cobb, Tinka Willard and husband Don; Tobbi Dixon and husband Kevin; stepson JimBob Lunsford; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, along with many more loving family members. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M.Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene.
