Obituary

Dale Sue Jones 52 of Oklahoma City Ok passed away in her sleep Sunday February 8th at her residence after battling illness. Dale was born February 23rd, 1957 in Germany. Her father the late Bill Gavin served in the military. Her mother Alma Faye Gavin preceded her in death. Dale spent her early years growing up on various military bases as well as Oklahoma and Florida. Eventually she moved back to Oklahoma City where she met her husband Stanley whom she referred to as the love of her life. She and Stanley married in 1986 and started a successful business, where they worked together side by side. Dales contagious smile, outgoing personality and quirky sense of humor seemed to set her apart from others. She left a lasting impression on everyone whose path she crossed. She was a devoted wife, stepmother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Dale is survived by her husband Stanley Jones, her sister Debbie Murphy and husband Richard of Frankston Texas and their children Dwayne and Kristina, brother Dane Gavin of Andalusia Alabama and his children Sonya, Nathan and Jonathan, Dean Gavin of Killeen Texas and his children Chase, Justin and Joey, brother Darrell Gavin and wife Debbie of Lakeland Florida and their children Wendy, Nick, Mackenzie and their granddaughter Mara, stepson Stanley Jones Jr and wife Nikki Jones, their two children Jordan and Alexandria of Oklahoma City, Stepson Brandon Jones , his two children Corey and Angel of Oklahoma City, stepdaughter Machehelle Chrome and her husband Kenny of Tupelo Mississippi and their children Jonathan, Joseph, Kenneth, Cortez and Courtney. There are countless people who loved Dale. She will be missed but never forgotten. A viewing will be held at Mercer Adams Funeral Home 3925 N Asbury, Bethany Oklahoma on Friday February 13th, from 8:00am to 9:00pm Services will be held at Mercer Adams Funeral Home on Saturday February 14th at 12:00 noon and will proceed to Resurrection Memorial Cemetery 7801 NW Expressway.
