Obituary

<2022 0813 piercep>Dale Marvin Howe passed on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 85. He came into this world on October 24th, 1936 in Clinton, Indiana to parents Alonzo and Helen Viola Thomas Howe. He was the youngest of 14 siblings. After spending his first 17 years of life in rural Indiana, he enlisted in the Air Force and began his first career that he would eventually retire from as a Master Sargent in 1976. He held many fascinating positions in the Air Force, and he loved to share stories with anyone about his time as a "Rocket Scientist." He lived in many different cities during his service that would ultimately lead him to meet his dear wife, Louise Howe, who he married in 1956. He was preceded in death by Louise in May, 2020. Dale was many things to many people ~ a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, teacher, and coach. A rocket scientist, mathematician, high school teacher, counselor, computer scientist, umpire, and mechanic. He was a bowler, a musician, and notorious jokester. You would be hard pressed to find something that he wasnt good at, well, except for maybe some cooking skills in the kitchen. One thing is for sure, he was never a stranger to anyone for very long before conversation began to flow. Many times, this would result in little harmless jokes at his targets expense, but one thing is for sure, he was always a welcoming friend to all, and all were always welcome! He is survived by his three daughters, Kerri Borjas, Denise Howe Ward, and Annette Howe; 6 grandsons and their wives; 3 great-grandsons plus one more almost here; 5 great granddaughters; his last living sibling, Jeanette Wallace; and countless "favorite nieces & nephews." Visitation with Family will be held on Monday, August 15th from 5pm-7pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK 73008.
