My handsome, courageous son, Dakota Skyler Barron, was born Thursday, January 20, 2000, alongside his twin brother, Dylan, and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
Dakota was loved fiercely by his mother, Jessica Kerrigan. He will remain the brightest light in her life, her best friend, as he lives now in her heart.
He made an instant impact on everyone who met him and on thousands who never will. Dakota loved to play video games; his favorite was Apex Legend. He loved hanging around at home and going to Trees where he worked. He was always asking his mom, "Whats for dinner" every day. Dakota loved his entire family to no end. He would sing to his mom random songs that he made on the spot, just to make her smile. He loved his pets, Griffin, Ms. Spuds, Ms. Fuzzys and Mickey Lovins. His favorite snacks were pretzels, salted caramel cookies, chocolate marble brownies from Dominos, and his grandma Terrys lemon pie. His favorite sport was basketball and he enjoyed watching scary movies with his Grandma Pat.
Dakota is survived by his mother, Jessica Kerrigan; his father, Joshua Barron; his stepmother, Starrla Barron; his twin brother, Dylan Barron; brothers, Kyle Bolin and Adin Barron; sister, Kali Barron; his grandma, Pat Boyett and his grandma, Terry Schwarz; his aunt, Steph Barron; his uncle, Ben Barron and uncle, David Martin; and his cousin and best friend, Chandler Twyford. He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Dennis Boyett and grandma, Nancy Brown.
As Dakota left this world, he was surrounded with the love of his mother who was always by his side. Dakota will forever be loved and never forgotten.
We love you Kota Pie.
