Daisy Mynogne Valliant, age 90, went to be with her Lord Monday, March 26, 2012. Born to James Abner and Iris Minerva Justice, Daisy often spoke of a wonderful childhood in Eastland, TX. In 1960, Daisy married her soul mate, Polk Valliant. Their 25 years of marriage were the happiest times in her life. She loved to sing in the church choir and was a gifted organist. She cherished evenings with her children and grandchildren gathered around the organ singing and laughing. She was a very loving, caring, considerate person. To know her was to love her. Her family will be forever grateful for her love, grace, and laughter. Daisy is survived by her daughter Iris Mary Harris and husband David of Yukon; daughter Nettie Louise Putman of Yukon; grandson Donald Ray Putman and wife Shera of Mesquite, TX; granddaughter Vicki Ragland and husband James of Lovington, NM; grandson Clinton Wayne Putman of Yukon; five great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren. The family wishes to especially thank the wonderful staff of Victorian Estates for their exceptional care and making her feel so loved. A memorial service celebrating her life will be Friday March 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Mercer Adams Funeral Home, 3925 North Asbury Avenue, Bethany, OK. Interment will be held in Eastland, TX.
