On Monday, April 5, 2021, Dac Van Nguyen passed away peacefully at the age of 91. Dac was born on October 20, 1929 at Haiphong, Vietnam to Bom and Ty Nguyen. In 1954, he married Hue Thi Vu. They raised a son, Cuong Van Nguyen. Following the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, Dac and his family migrated to the United States and eventually settled in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dacs friends will tell stories of how loyal of a friend he was, his strong work ethics and his tough as nails mentality. He was known to his family for his infectious smile and joyful laughs. He enjoyed the little things in life such as vanilla ice cream and his famous banana sandwiches. He is dearly loved and will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Bom and his mother, Ty. He is survived by his wife, Hue; son, Cuong and wife, Hop; grandsons, Chuong and Chuc; granddaughters, Chi and Chau; great grandchildren; Madeleine, Greyson, and Carter. A prayer service will be held on Friday, April 9th, 2021 at Mercer Adams Funeral Service - 3925 N Asbury Ave, Bethany, OK 73008 at 6pm.
