Connie Lee
Heffron
Apr 5, 1943 — Sep 13, 2026
Connie Lee White Heffron born April 5, 1943 passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on September 13, 2026 at the age of 83. Born and raised on a farm in Concordia, KS, she was the oldest child of Blanche Young and Wilford White. She loved the farm and the time she spent there with her sister Darcey. After her family moved to Oklahoma, she met Jack Heffron in El Reno, OK. They knew each other for about 8 weeks before marrying, beginning a 63-year marriage. Together they raised four children; Jay, Kenneth, Mark, and Jackie. Before she met Jack, she experienced one of the hardest chapters of her life, making the painful decision as a young unwed mother to place her son Kevin for adoption. Many years later, with the help of an organization, she was able to reconnect with Kevin and meet his wife and his three children. They developed a strong relationship built on love and forgiveness. Connie was a woman of deep faith and love for Christ, teaching her children how important it was to have Jesus in their life.
Connie was an amazing artist and she shared her gifts widely, teaching tole painting, ceramics, and china painting. She was so talented. Her passion was Quilting. She loved making quilts for her children and new babies in the family. She looked forward to going to her annual quilting retreats in Arkansas. She enjoyed gardening and her koi ponds and was a natural at keeping plants alive. She shared that joy of gardening with her grandkids and always was eager to share her gardening tips. She was a quiet sweet soul that everyone loved. She made friends wherever she went. During years of frequent hospital visits, she built meaningful relationships with her doctors and caregivers. It brought her joy to give away things she made to the nursing staff.
Connie was a woman whose greatest joy in life was her family. To her children, she was a loving mother, a source of strength, wisdom, and unconditional love. To her grandchildren, she was a cherished grandmother who filled their lives with warmth, laughter, and a love they will carry with them forever. Her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren brought her a special kind of happiness, and she was so proud to watch each generation grow. She gave so much of herself to her family throughout her life. Whether it was a listening ear, your favorite birthday cake, or simply being there when someone needed a hug and a shoulder to cry on. She showed her love through the countless little things that became the memories her family will treasure most.
She is survived by and loved by her son, Jay Heffron and wife Jennifer; son, Kenneth Heffron and wife Tamara; Mark Heffron and wife Stacy; and daughter Jackie Heffron She is also survived by nine grandchildren: grandson Kelly Knutson and wife Jennifer, granddaughter Kacy Fairhurst and husband Tom; grandson, Kerry Knutson and wife Patty, grandson, Jayson Heffron; granddaughter Juliana Heffron and boyfriend Brandon Buie; granddaughter Jamie Powell and husband Sean; granddaughter, Kalen Molina and husband Antonio; grandson, Noah Heffron and fiancé Emerson Rictor; grandson Jackson Heffron and girlfriend, Sommer Chapman.
