Obituary

Connie graduated from Bethany High School in 1984. She was a national honor student and won All State in track in the 2-mile relay in 1982. She won the best essay in 1984 in the Miss Indian Oklahoma pageant. She attended C.S.U. and O.C.U. as an honor student. Connie worked and modeled fashion at the Mouse Trap and other retailers when she was younger. She published small articles in Womans World magazine and others. Her motto was, "she lived to give." She worked at Walnut Gardens & Merson Law Office for many, many years cleaning. It gave her the quiet time for writing ideas. It was her great passion. She learned later in life how much fun it was to create new recipes. It was another way to express her creative talent. She loved to decorate and had a great passion for flowers and plants. She loved encouraging others through cards, gifts, and long phone calls. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends, especially her smart, beautiful, only child, Destiny. She loved God with all her heart and probably owned almost every Joel Osteen DVD. She wanted to volunteer for his ministry. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Ollie Doty, Tom T., and Louisa Pulliam; stepmom, Peggy Doty; stepbrother, Eddie McCain; cousin, Shelly white and many other Family. Connie is survived by her daughter Destiny Wilson of OKC; mother, Lena Lou "Pat" Fixico of Bethany; Father, Conrad Doty of Bethany; sister, Star White of Bethany; Cousin raised like her sister, Rachel Carter of Georgia; Brother, Jay Doty of Bethany; Nephews, Josh White, Jacob White of Bethany and Bradon White of Tulsa; Stepsisters, Cheryl Drake of Seminole, Shelia Westphal of Moore, Rhonda McCain of OKC; stepbrothers, Darrel McCain of Tulsa, Stacy McCain of OKC, Patrick McCain of Bethany, and many cousins and Family.
