Colleen Harrison of Oklahoma City left this earth on February 21, 2023 at the age of 70. She was born June 4, 1952 in Oklahoma City to Craig and Theda Crowe and was the oldest of 3 children. Colleen worked in jewelry repair most of her life and worked both full-time and contract labor for B.C. Clark Jewelers for nearly 40 years. Colleen met the love of her life, Rod, in 1974 and they were married March 12, 1976. After many years of marriage, they had their one and only son, Ryan, who was her pride and joy. It was very apparent in speaking with her for any period of time just how much she loved him and how proud she was to be his mom. Colleen was an animal lover, and her fur babies Garfield, Lily and Pumpkin were never far from her side. Colleen loved any and everything nature. She could often be found at Lake Hefner, parked under her tree eating lunch and watching all the birds and wildlife. She also loved butterflies, so much so that she got her first tattoo of a butterfly on her right arm at the age of 64. "Better late than never," she said. Colleen also loved Thunder basketball and would always text her friend, Jane, commentary throughout the game. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rod and his parents, Pete and Jerri Harrison; her parents, Craig and Theda Crowe; and her brother, Dale. She is survived by her son, Ryan; brothers, Alan and wife Debra, and Sam and wife Kathy; niece, Shanna and husband Jeremy; nephew, Craig; and many other family and friends. The family would like to thank the countless nurses and doctors who took care of her over the last years of her life. Services will be Monday February 27, 2023, 10:30 a.m. at the Mercer-Adams Chapel.
