SMSgt Clyde Raymond Ray Day, 77, passed away Thursday, June 24, in Oklahoma City. Clyde was born October 21, 1932, in Fostoria, OH, to Clarence and Ethel (Coates) Day. He proudly served 20 years with the United States Air Force through both the Korean and Vietnam Wars eventually earning him a Bronze Star. Clyde is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dorotha Nell Day. He is survived by his children, Raymond R. and Lynn Day, Terrell E. and Karen Day, Lori S. Starling, Jeffrey W. Day and Chris Gomm, Karen Smith, Audrey and Emily Smith, Robin and Sam Berry, Arne and Dalia Norem, Marti and Curtis Bold, Stephanie and Lamont Smith; 21 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans. A service to celebrate Rays life will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., Mercer-Adams Chapel with full military honors.
