Clifford Otto Wood, 73, of Oklahoma City passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018. He was born August 20, 1944 to Ervin Reed, Sr. and Ethel (Mills) Wood in Tehachapi, CA and grew up in the McAlester, OK area, moving to Oklahoma City in the 1990s. Clifford was an avid OU football fan who not only loved to travel to Bowl games but thoroughly enjoyed travel in general. He was a fan of John Wayne and old Western movies. He retired in 2009 as Sr. Vice President of Muskogee Bridge Company, Inc., one of Oklahomas premier bridge companies. Clifford served as President of the Associated General Contractors in 1995. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin Sr. and Ethel Wood; his brothers, Homer and Ervin Reed Wood Jr.; and sisters, Marie Watson, Barbara Mouser and Edna Mouser. Clifford is survived by his sister, Brenda Malloy; mother of his children, Gladys Wood; daughters, Trenda Palomino and Tina Wood; and grandchildren, Wyatt and Jillian Palomino. Funeral service will be 1:00pm on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment to follow in Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
