Obituary

Clifford John Ratzlaff passed away November 3, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on June 2, 1930 in Dalmeny, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Peter H. Ratzlaff and Matilda (Boese) Ratzlaff. He married Margaret Lou (Glasgow) on July 23, 1950 in Alva, OK. He worked as a service manager for various equipment companies over the years. After he retired, Clifford spent his time as a home repair specialist. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserve. Clifford enjoyed fishing, traveling, working in his garage, and fixing anything he could get his hands on. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He adored and spoiled his grandsons. He was a longtime active member of Ridgecrest United Methodist Church (now Cornerstone United Methodist Church). Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 68 years, Margaret; son, Kim Glasgow Ratzlaff; and sisters, Louise Buhler and Irene Chandler. He is survived by his sons, Larry (Lisa) Clifford Ratzlaff and Randy Lee Ratzlaff; sisters, Vera Fast and Joan Swinney; grandsons, Christopher (Keeton) Ratzlaff and Bartlett (Kortney) Ratzlaff. In addition, he leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and a host of friends. Viewing will be prior to the service, which will be 11:00 am Friday, November 6 at Mercer-Adams Chapel with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
