Cleota Johnston, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, March 18, 2011. Cleota was born August 21, 1935, in Idabel, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jess and Maud Brown. She was a member of Windsor Hills Baptist Church for over 45 years. As her health permitted, she enjoyed gardening and quilting. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 5 brothers. She is survived by her husband, Bill; daughter, Donna Buchanan and husband Ron; son, Mike Johnston and wife Darlina; 6 grandchildren, Michael Johnston and wife Lori, Daelina Carter and husband Jerry, Micah Johnston, Chad Buchanan and wife Lindsey, Chase Buchanan and wife Abby and Chaning Schaff and husband Lane; and 3 great grandchildren, Braxton Buchanan, Rylie Carter and Hudson Buchanan; step great grandson, Jess Curry. Family will greet friends on Monday evening at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service from 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Windsor Hills Baptist Church, OKC, OK, with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
