Cleo Maddox went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Oklahoma City on October 20, 2023. Cleo was born on May 26, 1930 in Tulsa, OK.
Cleo married Goldie Maddox, and they were married 43 years. They spent many years traveling to south TX in winters and Gunnison, CO in summer. They were faithful members of Council Road Baptist Church for over 35 years.
Cleo was retired from the FAA as a computer operator. He was an Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War.
He was a kind man who always saw the good in everyone. He enjoyed meeting his friends for breakfast and daily lunch at the senior center.
He is survived by his granddaughters and their families, Katie and Derrick Taylor, Maddox and Will; Kelli and Wade Wooten, Braden and Bryson; daughter-in-law, Marilyn and her husband Dennis Bilbrey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldie; and one son, Robert Maddox.
Viewing will be Tues., Oct 24 from 12-8pm with family present from 4-6pm at Mercer-Adams. Service will be Wed., Oct. 25 at 10:00am in Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
