Claudine Miller was born May 5, 1929 at the home of her grandparents in Lakin, KS. She was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 22, 2022. When she was two years old, the family moved to Oklahoma City. Thirteen days after her second birthday her sister, Charlene, was born. They were always best friends. At the age of thirteen, she gave her life to Jesus. From then on, she studied Gods word to discover the plans He had for her life. She attended Linwood Methodist Church at that time. In 1948, she graduated from the original Classen High School. She then attended Oklahoma City University. She worked at the printing press at OCU for seven years. She met Clyde Miller in San Diego on May 24, 1955. He was the best friend of her sisters husband, Hank. They knew this was a match made in heaven and got engaged near the Oklahoma City Zoo. That night fireworks were going off and the animals reacted. They said, "Even the animals are happy for us." They got married December 18, 1955, at Wesley United Methodist Church. They were married 60 years when Clyde went on to heaven. They attended Grace United Methodist Church, then Cherokee Hills Baptist Church, and have been members of Village Baptist Church for the last 30 years. Claudene and Clyde loved traveling together and visited many wonderful places. She was a campfire girl for 12 years then served as Campfire leader for Karens group and Den Mother for Randys pack. Claudine loved woodworking, drawing, and singing. In seventh grade woodworking class she crafted the 7 Dwarfs out of wood and painted them. The family still treasures these today. She sang in the high school choir, the OCU choir, a group called Colortones, and The PrimeTime choir at Village Baptist Church along with the ensemble called Blest.
