Claudia "Jeanne" Britt went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2024, in Edmond, OK. She

lived a long and rich life spent dedicated to her family and so many others who were

blessed to know her. Jeanne's commitment to her faith and family was the driving force

of a life well lived that will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched. She

always put God first and lived an authentic life, full of joy and gratefulness and was a

"teacher" through and through.

Jeanne attended and graduated from Bethany Nazarene College in 1964, where she

met the love of her life, Gerald "Jerry" Britt. In 1965, Jerry and Jeanne married and were

blessed with 55 years of a God-centered marriage. They enjoyed over 40 years living in

Phoenix, AZ, where they were very involved in the Nazarene church, leading Bible

studies, teaching Sunday School and hosting activities in their home. Jerry and Jeanne

spent the last eight years back where their love story began in Oklahoma. Jeanne

continued to impact so many lives living out her God-given gift and calling of teaching

3rd, 4th and 5th grade for 29 years, then retired to live out her greatest calling of being the

best "Grammy" to her three grandsons.

Claudia "Jeanne" Britt was preceded in death by her forever love and husband, Gerald

"Jerry" Britt; and her parents, Claude and Juanita Chilton. She now leaves her loving memories

to be cherished by her daughters, Renee Bogar and husband Scott of Palm Bay, FL and

Andrea Bailey and husband Trace of Piedmont, OK; and grandsons, Tanner Bailey (19),

Cannon Bogar (19) and Trayden Bailey (16).

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 11am at Faith Church

in Oklahoma City, OK.
