Claudene Barber, age 85, of Warr Acres, Oklahoma, passed away on August 4, 2021. She was born December 4, 1935 in the Flo Community, Leon County, Texas to Claude Mullins and Nancy Matilda (Robinson). She moved to Weatherford, Texas in High School, where she met and married Charles Bertrand Barber Sr. on August 28, 1953; they had 4 children. They made their home in Garland, Texas, moving to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the early 1970s. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping and traveling and being "Maw Maw" and Grandma to her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother; 3 sisters; husband, Charles; son, Chuck Barber; son-in-law, Tom Young; and great-granddaughter, Harper Matile. She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Phil) Takagi, Nancy Young, Janet (Frank) Snolis; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Lovett Barber; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1great-great-granddaughter. Services will be Saturday August 21, at 2:00 pm at Springdale Baptist Church, 3900 N.W. 50thStreet, Oklahoma City, OK. .
