Claud Maxwell Mitchell passed away August 2, 2021. He was born July 2, 1963, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was the only child of Lillie Mae Mitchell and Harry Maxwell Mitchell. Clauds father died when Claud was a young child, he lived with his mother until her death about 12 years ago. We are certain that Claud now lives in heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As a teen Claud would reward children in the bus ministry with a half slice of a dill pickle, when they had recited their Bible memory verses. He invested years studying and teaching the Bible. He shared the gospel in Oklahoma, Armenia, and a few other foreign countries. He enjoyed sharing music and gospel messages by expertly setting up audio. He was also quick to join the small band when they needed to add harmonica to the mix. Clauds Information Technology career spanned more than 35 years. For 23 years, He managed the ERP system at LSB Industries which became NIBE/Climate Control Group. He frequently shared how much he appreciated his thoughtful boss and coworkers. Claud was a talented Christian martial artist who was both tough and gentle, and remarkably flexible for a big man. He used his martial arts skills by serving in the church security team giving members and guests a sense of peace. Claud was fiercely devoted to OU Football and Thunder Basketball. He treated his friends like VIPs by sharing amazing seats with them at sporting events. He was rich with friends from many facets of his life. As his friends, we are richer for having known him. We are heart-broken at his early departure and will miss him dearly. . Memorial Service
