Claire Ann Roop, 63, died July 21, 2015 in Oklahoma City. She was born March 4, 1952 in Ponca City, OK to Elton Clair Talbert and Naomi Eunice (Wallace) Talbert. She was a 1970 graduate of Ponca City High School and graduated from Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, OK. She also attended Central State University. On May 25, 1975, she married Joe Roop in Ponca City. She began her career as a registered nurse at the University Hospital in the newborn unit and retired from the Dept. of Human Services. An avid reader, she was fond of cats and was active in Free to Live. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Joe; one son, Justin of OKC; two brothers, Elton Talbert and wife Mickey of Piedmont, and Mark Talbert of Ponca City; and aunt, Eula Sims of OKC. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. Services will be held at a later date. Services at a later date
