Christopher was born at Wilford Hall Air Force Hospital, San Antonio, Texas. He is the beloved son of Haywood B. and Vera V. Larkin. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Andrew Ball. He is survived by sister, Leesha Larkin and brother-in-law, Jerry Baker; sister, Orlean Ericson and brother-in-law, Kenneth Ericson; and ex-brother-in-law, Dan Richard Byrd. Chris adored his nieces and nephews. He would take them boating and fishing. He especially enjoyed hunting with his nephew, Brandon, that he called "Little Brother." He leaves behind Brandon Dan Byrd, Catherine Victoria Byrd, Rachel Lee Byrd, Nicolas Barnett Ericson and Ryan Allen Ericson. Chris was a member of the Last Frontier Council Boy Scouts of America. He became an Eagle Scout February 14, 1988. He earned his Tigers Tooth at Brown Sea and was a member of the Order of the Arrow. Chris finished his last year of High School at Wentworth Military Academy, Lexington, MO. He became a Cadet Commander and graduated college there. He was honored to receive a scholarship for books as an Eagle Scout and to receive the Doughboy Award, given once a year. His profession was Adjuster for Workers Compensation. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and angler. He leaves behind his precious Labrador Retriever (Dodge Larkin) who shall reside with his good friend, Kelley.
