Christopher Lee Edmonson, 23, died December 22, 2011. He was born May 11, 1988 in Jacksonville, NC to Cleve and Tammy (Lansing) Edmonson. He was a proud soldier of the U.S. Army, serving 2 tours of duty to Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a member of LifeChurch. Preceded in death by his father, Cleve, he is survived by his mother, Tammy; brother, Matt Edmonson; grandparents, John and Janie Gulley; aunts, Michelle Rexa, Tracy Lansing and Wendy Poynor; uncle, Johnny Gulley; and numerous cousins and many friends. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 29, 10:00am at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Resthaven Cemetery.
