Christopher Allen Davenport, 73 passed away on April 18, 2026 in Frisco, TX. He was born January 28, 1953 to Mother, Helen and Father Bill Davenport in Oklahoma City, OK.
Co-founded Mistletoe Diversified Partners, LLC. as Business Partner, along with his sister, Kathy Davenport, Business Partner. Prior he was Principal/COO of DP Engineering for 25 years.
Chris was a proud Veteran of the US Navy. Chris enjoyed attending season OU football games with his sister and many friends. Boomer!, concerts, traveling domestic and international, spending quality time with family, a multitude of friends and his "Pom Gals". He loved everything Christmas and was a devoted Son, Brother, Father, Papa, Grandpa, Pom Dad, GC and loyal friend.
Chris was an alumni with the University of Oklahoma where he earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering 1971-May 1979. Licenses and Certifications of Professional Engineer in Michigan, New York, Kansas, Arkansas and Texas.
He was an avid walker with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, raising donations and awareness.
Chris was a generous, loving man of God. A protector, life long best friend and had the kindest heart and infectious laugh. A gentle giant with a soul to match. He was a blessing to everyone who knew him and crossed his life path.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister Kathy Davenport, Son, Andrew Davenport and wife Amanda, Daughter Lee Ann Hall and husband Justin, Grandchildren Katie and Connor, Fur daughter Olive and Fur niece Kate Louise. He will be greatly missed. Chris is forever one in a million! Heaven just got a little bit rowdier!
Viewing at Mercer-Adams will be Thursday, May 7, 10am-8pm with family present from 4-7pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 8, 10:30am, at Putnam City Christian Church, 4215 N. Grove Avenue, Oklahoma City. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley, OK will follow at 3:30pm.
