Christine Marie Brown, 96, peacefully went to Heaven on Feb. 3, 2015. She was born to Frank & Mary (Kutin) Yukl on April 21, 1918 in Traer, Iowa. After graduating from high school, she completed her education by attending business school in OKC. She married the love of her life, Edwin E. Brown, on Nov. 17, 1940. To their delight, they had two sons, Bennie & Wayne. She was an active member of Kelley Avenue Christian Church and later, First Christian Church of OKC. She gave countless hours in service through CWF, sewing comfort bags, lap blankets and stuffed toys to give comfort to hundreds. Her greatest joy was working the family farm in Harrah, OK with Ed. Clearing and burning brush, picking blackberries, and raising cows was always fun to her. She was preceded in death and reunited in Heaven with her parents; husband, Ed; sister, Albina Harris and great-grandson, Caleb Brown. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Ben Brown & wife Nancy, Wayne Brown & wife Janyth; grandchildren, Amy Brown, Phillip Brown, Monica Gonzalez, Bryan Bundy & Heather Brown; great-grandchildren, Sophia Christine, Anna, Camilla, Jasmine & Jailyn Brown, and Ryan Bundy; niece, Carol Stroud & husband Kinney; nephew, Roger Harris & wife Jimmie.
