Cherylyn Ann Pereida, born in St. Louis, MO, April 12, 1953 to Marvin and Louis Murche; one sister, Joan Murche. In her early teens, Bill and Dorothy Theurer adopted her as their own, and were loved very deeply by Cherylyn. The Theurer family includes siblings, Penelope Rains, Bill Theurer, Nancy Coe and Richard Theurer. Cherylyn married Jesse Pereida January 2, 1998; their friendship grew into a romantic one - a QUICK ROMANCE. From an earlier marriage, Stephanie Johnston was born. Cherylyn has been stepmother to Nicole Hansen and always felt as if she was her own child. In addition, three younger children are of Cherylyn and Jesse - Annamarie, Marissa and Adrienne Pereida. She was "Granny" to Janalyn Johnston and Jaiden Hansen. Extended family includes Cherylyn's Aunt Doris and Uncle Howard Campbell, and their daughters. Everything Cherylyn experienced was embraced with enthusiasm. With her brave and pioneering spirit, independent streak, and a huge zest for jumping into things with both feet, she found that all of those areas were strengthened by her faith in God. However, she did believe that chocolate was made to represent her, or maybe even FOR her. It's unique, soothes, and aims to please. So when you think of Cherylyn, pop a piece of milk chocolate in your mouth and smile. Funeral service will be Friday, August 23, 1:00pm at Transformation Church International (T.C.I.).
