Cheryl Jean (Sowersby) Merts died March 15, 2011 in OKC. She was born March 4, 1961 in Tucson, AZ to Erwin Lee and Joy Lynne (Neal) Sowersby. She was a member of the Potawatomi Nation Tribe. Preceded in death by her husband, Ron, she will be missed by her 4 daughters, Nichole Thompson and Lisa Holmes, both of OKC, Antoinette Holmes of Edmond, and Christine Holmes of Tulsa; beloved grandchildren Jada Baldwin and Kiron Forbes; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters. Services will be Monday, March 21, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Gracelawn Cemetery.
