Charlotte Sue Neeley went to be with her Heavenly Father on Oct. 13th 2018. She was born on November 16, 1943 in Champaign, Illinois to Tony Ralph Kent and Tilda Louise Caldwell. She was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers, Jim and Howard Meyers.
She is survived by her four loving daughters, Mundee Mckay and husband Mike, Tracy Marchese and husband Dave, Kami Davis and husband Tabor, and Brandy Cheadle; her eight grandchildren, Zack and Bailey Tillery, Mayci, Sayger and Aybree Davis, Chase and Trey Neeley and Joey Cheadle; and her five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Beverley Olds and husband Les and family from Indianapolis, Indiana, and her sister in law, Sue Neeley; nephew, Brandon Neeley and wife Belite and two daughters Camryn and Olivia from Wichita, Kansas, and Corey Taravati and wife Lizette and son Paulo from Tucson, Arizona.
At the age of 18 Sue married and moved to Oklahoma City where she lived the rest of her life. Although the marriage was not to be, she raised her four daughters on her own, which in itself is a testament to her courage, strength, faith and above all LOVE.
She was always a passionate animal lover from a very young age and that continued throughout her lifetime. A stray was never a stray if she had anything to do with it.
Her love of kids didnt stop with her own. She had an incredible gift with children. A special bond. She operated an in-home daycare center for over 20 years and treated them ALL as family.
Her special gift extended to people of all ages. She had an influence on everyone she met. If you had the privilege to know heryou felt an unbelievable peace and comfort, the feeling that you had known her for years and she was YOUR Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, sister and devoted friend.
She was a devoted mother to her daughters and family. Family was her life!
And we cant forget, she was a huge OU and Thunder fan!
