Charles Edwin
Wiedenmann
May 28, 1934 — Feb 11, 2024
Charlie was born to William and Vivian Wiedenmann. He was one of six children raised on Beacon Hill Farm in Vinita, OK. Charlie enjoyed everything outdoors and being in motion - not your sit still guy - from the beginning to the end of his life. From playing on the farm to playing any sport he could find, he cherished his childhood, and his mom's cooking, especially her chocolate mayonnaise cake!
For an amazing 40+ year career, he was a school photographer, traveling a multi-state region, making kids smile. He was married to his sweetheart, Karen, for nearly 50 years. They enjoyed traveling, camping, cowboy cookouts and playing horseshoes at The Ranch. Their log cabin home off the rim of the Snake River Canyon had a shop almost as big as the house itself where he spent many hours wood working. Fishing was his favorite hobby, and lakes a favorite place.
Charlie had 3 daughters who were the light of his life. When the grandkids and great-grandkids arrived on the scene, he welcomed them with rosy cheeks and tears of joy!
Charlie loved his vegetable gardens, a good joke and a cold beer! When it came to luck he'd say "You don't have to wish me any, I've had good luck all my life."
