Charles Walters, 68, died February 26, 2017. He was born April 21, 1948 in OKC to Gilbert and Novis (Little) Walters. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, he did his undergraduate work at O.U, and received his Masters of Science at Southern Nazarene University. He was a 32nd degree Mason as was past Master of OKC Lodge 36. He was a Shriner with India Shrine Center, Clown Emeritus, "Chuckles," Scottish Rite and York Rite. He was also involved with Kiwanis and served as a Deacon at Council Road Baptist Church. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janice Walters. Survivors include his loving wife, Beverly Walters; daughter, Deanna Wells and husband Kevin Eades and their children, Kathryn and Bobby Bilyeu; daughter, Tamara Gregory and husband Matt and their children, Angelea and Zion; daughter, Gina Osburn and husband Ricky and their children, Chyenne, Shane Jr., J.W., Chenoa, and Forrest; brother, Delbert Walters and wife Thelma, and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-9pm, with family present from 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Friday, March 3, 10:00am at Council Road Baptist Church Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
