Charles Burgess "C.B." Faison died on March 14, 2013 in Oklahoma City. He was born on May 4, 1916 in Dallas, Texas, to Bessie Burgess and Carrol Faison. He married the love of his life, Angeline May Piley, in 1935. They had two children, Charles Herman and Carol Lee. They were married over 50 years at the time of Angeline's death. He then married Pauline Copeland in 1988. C.B. joined the US Army in 1944. After his service in the military he returned to Oklahoma City and resided in Bethany. C.B. was a mechanical engineer, working for Little Giant Pump Co. and retiring from Macklanburg-Duncan. He also enjoyed his time as a Mason. His hobbies throughout life included golf, traveling, camping, fishing, playing cards and dominos. He was very creative and talented working with leather, making silver jewelry, and wood carvings. C.B. was preceded in death by his parents; wife Angeline; brother Jackie Faison; step-brother Herman Jefferson. He is survived by his wife, Pauline; son Charles Herman and wife Merle of Yukon; daughter Carol Findley and husband Joe of Yukon; 5 grandsons: Ray Faison, Lester Faison, David Faison, Greg Barnes, and Grant Barnes; granddaughter Angela Tillery; 9 great-grandchildren: Jennifer Faison, Kristen St. John, Meagan Tillery-Castro, Micah Faison, Ashley Faison, Melissa Faison, Lesley Barnes, Zackary Tillery, and Boomer Barnes; 2 great-great grandchildren: Gabriella Castro and Zane St. John. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel in Bethany, OK. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
