Charles Bertrand Barber, age 85, of Warr Acres, Oklahoma, passed away on August 26, 2018. He was born on July 15, 1933 to Bert and Edith (Thompson) Barber, and raised in Greenwood Community in Weatherford, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He married Claudene Mullins on August 28, 1953; they had 4 children. They made their home in Garland, Texas until his job with Big Three Industries took them to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David Barber, Winburn Barber; son, Chuck Barber; son-in-law, Tom Young; and great-granddaughter, Harper Matile. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudene Barber; his daughters, Judy (Phil) Takagi, Nancy Young, Gaylynn (Frank) Snolis; sister, Mary Puryear; brother, Ted Barber; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Services will be Saturday, September 8, 2:00pm at Springdale Baptist Church.
