Charlene Kay Ernest, 69, of Oklahoma City, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 29, 2017. She was born Oct. 7, 1948 to Glen and Virginia Prevett in Guthrie, OK. She attended Oklahoma City schools and graduated from N.W. Classen High School. She attended Okla. Baptist University for two years. Charlene spent most of her working career in the oil and gas industry and retired from Chesapeake Energy in 2012. She loved the beach and most of all her two grandsons. Charlene was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister. She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Amy Aita and husband Luis Aita; and grandsons, Landon and Evan. Viewing will be Tues. from 11am-9pm with family present from 5-7 pm at Mercer-Adams in Bethany. A celebration of her life will be at 2 pm on Wed. Jan. 3, 2018 at New Hope UMC, 11600 N.
