Cecil Ray Bohanan, 84, resident of Bethany since 1950, passed away January 19, 2010. He was born October 23, 1925 in Lazare, TX to John and Ethel (Harbison) Bohanan. He married Nita Rae Perryman June 20, 1953 in Mineral Wells, TX. He retired from General Motors in 1990. He was a former employee of Brown-McClure Lumber Co. for 22 years. In retirement, he worked with his wife in their antique store. He enjoyed visiting with people and made many friends. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nita; son Dale Bohanan and wife Denice; 5 nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Thursday, 9am-9pm with the family receiving guests from 6:30-7:30pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Fri., Jan. 22, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
