Carolyn Jean Sigler, 70, went to her heavenly home on March 29, 2021. She was born August 7, 1950 to W.C. "Bill" and Thelma Jean (Allen) McBee. She married Gary David Sigler on June 20, 1972 in Oklahoma City. She held a masters degree from Bethany Nazarene College in early elementary education. Carolyn was a longtime educator serving 30 years at Northridge Elementary School, Oklahoma City. She was a member of Williams Church of the Nazarene.
Carolyn enjoyed coloring, crocheting, and working crossword puzzles. She had a massive collection of Precious Moments. She loved to garden and grow delicious tomatoes. Her favorite drink was Perrier water and she craved lemons sprinkled with salt. She had tons of recipes and cookbooks, each lovingly adorned with sticky notes and tweaks known only to her. She was known by family and friends for her delicious apple crisp, a recipe passed down by her grandmother and perfected by Carolyn. Her favorite pastime of all was spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She took every opportunity available to be in their company.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Lawana "Katie" Williams, who passed in 2001.
Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Gary; sons, William "Bill" Sigler and wife Michelle of Yukon, Gregory Sigler and wife Becky of Yukon, and Chad Sigler and wife Kathie of Oklahoma City; and grandchildren, Katelynn, Ryan, Christian, Wyatt, Garrett, Kaiden, and Bradley. In addition, she leaves behind her furry companions ~ dog, Molly, aka "Wonder Wiggle," and cats, Gizmo and Tiger.
Services will be Thursday, April 1, 2:00pm at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The services will be live streamed and available to watch on this obituary page.
