Carolyn Joyce Cronk was born December 23, 1938 to Archie and Dorothy (Smith) Alexander in Ponca City, OK. She passed away November 1, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Carolyn graduated from Bethany Nazarene College (now Southern Nazarene University) with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics. She was married and had two daughters.

Carolyn taught Home Economics for 28 years, and after retirement she used her gift as a seamstress to alter wedding gowns and create unique designs. She blessed many brides with the gift of her beautiful handiwork and loved making brides feel special.

She was a longtime active member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene and most recently joined Heritage Presbyterian Church. Carolyn often talked about how women's Bible study had changed her life, and she frequently served her church in many ways, often using her gifts as a seamstress.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Walter, Margie, Don, Gerald and Bertha.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheri (Curtis) Groves and Lori (Lorne) Hall; grandchildren, David Pryor, Elise Taylor and John Paul, Anna Stubbs and Jordan, Molly Grenier and Dayne; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Caroline.

Funeral services will be 11:00am, Friday, November 15, 2024 at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment to follow in Bethany Cemetery.
