Carolyn D. Barnes, 80, passed away on September 3, 2015 on the family farm north of Holdenville following an extended period of declining health. She was born January 6, 1935 in Henryetta, OK to Albert and Ruby (Judkins) DePasse. Carolyn went to work in 1958 for Western Electric Co., retiring in 1995. On April 14, 1975 she married Steven D. Barnes in Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Ruth Ann and a son-in-law, Allan West. Survivors include her husband Steve of the home, son Kim Wilson and wife Sharon, OKC; daughter, Jo Ellen West, OKC; brother, Don Depasse and wife Barbara, Henryetta; step-daughter, Sandy Johnson and husband Myrl and step-son, Steven Barnes and wife Rochelle all of Colorado; 9 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Carolyn will be gratefully missed. Viewing will be on Wednesday, Sep. 9th from 9 - 9 p.m. at Mercer-Adams. Services will be held Thursday, Sep. 10, 2015 at 2 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church 5401 N Brookline Ave, OKC.
